Doorstep Detailer – Mobile Valeting & Detailing Services

Welcome to Doorstep Detailer. By booking our services, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms are designed to protect both you (the customer) and us (the service provider), and ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.


1. Our Services

We provide professional mobile valeting and detailing services across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Hertfordshire. Services are performed at your home, workplace, or other agreed location.

We reserve the right to refuse service if:

  • Your vehicle is unsafe or unsanitary to work on

  • The working area is unsuitable or unsafe

  • Weather conditions prevent us from working safely


2. Bookings & Cancellations

Booking Confirmation

Appointments are confirmed via call, text, or email. We aim to arrive within a 1-hour time window.

Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment.

Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) or no-shows may result in a £25 cancellation fee or loss of any pre-paid deposit.


3. Vehicle Access & Preparation

To carry out the service, we require:

  • Access to your vehicle at the agreed time

  • Enough space to work safely around the vehicle

  • Access to water and/or electricity (if needed)

  • Personal items removed from the interior

We are not responsible for any personal belongings left in the vehicle.


4. Payment

Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service unless agreed otherwise in writing.

We accept:
💷 Cash
💳 Card (if applicable)
🏦 Bank transfer

Invoices (if issued) must be paid within 7 days. Late payments may incur fees or interest.


5. Pricing & Surcharges

Prices are based on vehicle size and condition. Heavily soiled vehicles may incur additional charges for:

  • Pet hair

  • Excessive dirt or mould

  • Vomit, urine, or biohazards

  • Tar or sap removal

You will be informed before any extra charges are applied.


6. Liability & Damage

We treat every vehicle with the utmost care. However, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Wear and tear to aged or poorly maintained finishes

  • Loose trim, rust, or degraded paintwork

Any damage believed to be caused by us must be reported within 24 hours of the appointment. After this, we may be unable to accept responsibility.


7. Weather Conditions

We operate in most weather, but may reschedule in cases of:

  • Heavy rain or storms

  • Extreme cold or heat

  • Unsafe working conditions

If this happens, we will contact you to arrange a new appointment.


8. Customer Conduct

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse service if a customer:

  • Is abusive or threatening to staff

  • Requests unsafe or unethical practices

  • Repeatedly cancels or fails to attend appointments


9. Feedback & Satisfaction

We genuinely value your feedback. If you're unhappy with any aspect of our service:

  • Contact us within 24 hours

  • We'll do our best to resolve the issue or return if necessary

  • Refunds are issued only at our discretion


10. Insurance

We are fully insured for public liability and vehicle care while performing services. Insurance documents are available upon request.


11. Privacy Policy

We only collect the data needed to provide and improve our services (e.g. name, contact details, address). Your information is never sold or shared without permission. See our Privacy Policy for full details.


12. Legal

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled in the English courts.
